Karate Kids

Hello everyone, today I have two cards to show you as I couldn't resist making a matching set! I used two fabulous images from Mo's Digital Pencil called Karate Girl and Karate Boy. They are just perfect for a black and white combo with just a touch of colour on each. For both cards I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers Challenge 112 and I am also entering the boy card for Stamp with Fun Challenge 69 which has a theme of male cards and this week's Simon Says where the theme is dots.

For my cards I used my swiss dots folder to emboss the white card and on the boy card I have used DP from my stash. I have stitched around the edges of all the elements with my sewing machine and I used ribbon, a button and jewels from my stash.

For the girl card, all the details are the same as above except my DP is from Papermania. I took the photos on two different days, hence the slight differences with the lighting!!!

Supplies
Card/Paper: Black and white card, Papermania (Girl), DP from stash (Boy)
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Karate Girl & Karate Boy
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, E53, E57, E29, R27, R59, B32, B24, B39, C1, C3, C5, 0

Cupcake Challenge 101

Hello everyone, this week over on Cupcake Challenge 101 we have a theme of Pastel Christmas and we are sponsored by Paper Mom who are giving us 3 digi stamps as a prize. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of cute and both Magnolia Down Under Challenge 56 and Stamptacular Challenge 69 have themes of christmas in July.

For my card I have used Christmas Party Tilda from the Magnolia So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009 and I have coloured her with copics and embellished with stickles. My lush DP is from fancy pants and the sentiment is from WOJ. Instead of cutting my card quite close to the image I decided to leave it larger to give more focus to Tilda and I quite like the look! Of course, with a larger image I kept the layout very simple and I embellished with jewels and ribbon from my stash.

Card/Paper: Black and white card, Fancy Pants
Stamps: Magnolia - Christmas Party Tilda - So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009, Sentiment - WOJ
