Cupcake Challenge 2

The second Cupcake Challenge was to create a card from a sketch. I used pink and white card stock, the paper is from a free download from Arty Miss and the greeting is a silver peel off. I used wavy scissors and a small hole punch to create the trim across the middle.

Boxes Galore!

I have developed an addiction for making these cute little boxes!!! The one on the left is made from white card and decorated with yellow card and K & Co daisy paper. The middle one is made from cream card and simply decorated with black and hot pink card and a cream bow. Finally, the one on the right is made from white card and it is decorated with green card and dovecraft aqua paper. I think these are ideal for little prezzies and you can decorate them in the same colour scheme to match a card. The very talented Joanne has a tutorial for these boxes here.

As I am just new to crafting I haven't gathered together a lot of stuff just yet but I have just bought these fab storage boxes for the clutter I have amassed so far! I also have a larger one but couldn't get a decent photo with that one in too. I got all three of them for less than 8 euros.....bargin!

Tag You're It! Challenge - Week 20

The week 20 challenge on Tag You're it! was to create a Christmas tag. I didn't have a blog then so I just e-mailed my tag in but I thought I'd put it on after the event! I just used some navy and white card stock, a silver snowflake embellishment and brad, silver elasticated cord and I did the sentiment on my computer using the font segoe script.

Kaboodle Challenge 1

The first Kaboodle Challenge was to create something with their free download challenge kit. I had never used any downloads before when making cards and I was mightily impressed with the quality of them and the funky design. I decided to make a pocket card as I had never done one before so I thought I would have a bash! I used white card stock for the main card, red card stock for the tab and the black, red and white papers from the download.

In the Pink

As my blog is very pink, I thought the first post should be a pink card and box!! Both were made using cream card stock, random bits of pink paper that were very kindly given to me by my boyfriend's Mum, and the greeting, butterflies and trim are silver peel offs. I think the box is very cute.....its just a shame I'll be giving it away with a present inside!!!

Hello

I can't believe I have managed to create a blog.....what a job I had to get a name! Anyway, in the next few days I will start to post some of the cards and bits and bobs I have made. I am just new to card making, I've only been at it for just over a month, so I'm on a bit of a creative learning curve at the moment. See you soon. x
