Tilda with Tulips

Hello everyone, the card I have to show you today features a colour that I don't use too often......and it features it in a BIG way! lol! I have made this card for Copic Creations Challenge 50 where the theme is yellow, and this week's Papertake where the theme is pale/pretty pastels.

For my card I have used Tilda with Armful of Tulips from the Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011 and she is coloured with copics. The DP is also from the Magnolia Butterfly Dreams collection of papers and it is one of the mini 6 x 6 sheets, just perfect for a card! I have inked the edges of my image and the DP with tea stain distress ink and I have finished off with a doily, ribbon and some jewels. The sentiment is computer generated and I have attached it like a little charm.

Cupcake Challenge 143

Hello everyone, over on Cupcake Challenge 143 we have a theme of bookworm and we would like to see book/reading related cards or projects. This week we are sponsored by Crafty Emma's Store and they are giving us the fabulous prize of a £10 gift certificate. I am also entering this card into the following challenges; this week's Simon Says challenge has a theme of sparkle and shine, and A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 152 has a theme of anything goes.

For my card I decided to go with a slightly different design.... its kinda growing on me but I wasn't sure about it at first.....something doesn't look quite right and I think it is maybe a proportion issue!!! I use Willow with book from WOJ and she is coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles. I used a spellbinders fancy tag to cut the shape for my sentiment and I sponged it with tattered rose distress ink for some definition, then stamped a Magnolia sentiment. The DP is from Dovecraft and the ribbon and jewels are from my stash.

I made this bookmark a while ago, so I decided to make my card to match it!

This month our icing on the cupcake prize is sponsored by Crafts U Love who are giving us a £15 voucher as a prize, and all you have to do is enter at least one of our challenges this month to be in with a chance to win.

Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card, Dovecraft

Hello everyone, its Monday once again and this week over on Cupcake Challenge 142 we have a theme of in the garden chosen by the one and only Fluffster Faye! I am also entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Stamp Something has a theme of anything goes and this week's Papertake Challenge has a theme of punches/die cuts.

For my card this week I have used Lizzy with Daisy from Create4fun and she is coloured with copics. I did the sky background with broken china distress ink and it is the first time I have tried to make a cloudy sky.... I must make a note to self...the next time you try something new, have a good practice first and don't launch straight into it!!!! I think I managed to salvage it though!!!!

The DP is from Colorbok, it is a new pad that my MIL brought back from the US for me and its lush, very pretty and lovely soft, fresh colours. The ribbon is from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid. The little tabs have been made with a spellbinders fancy tag die and the sentiment is from WOJ.
