There's a rumble in the Jungle!

Hello everyone, today I have made a card for a couple of challenges, this week's Simply Magnolia Challenge has a theme of anything goes, Secret Crafter challenge 140 has a theme of embossing, and I have followed the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge 61. This is also my card for an internal challenge between the DT members at CCC.

I have used Monkey and the hanging leaves from the Magnolia Pet Collection 2009 and they are coloured with copics and I have added some glossy accents to his eyes and nose. I also used the giraffe pattern stamp from the same collection and I stamped it with vintage photo distress ink to create the patterned card.

The DP is from MME and the leaves are all embossed. The buttons, twine and twill ribbon are all from my stash.

I used the giraffe pattern stamp once again to create a pocket to hold money or a gift card. Finally the sentiment is a stamped one I had in my stash and it is a penny black one (I think!)

Supplies
Card/Paper: White and brown card. MME - bloom and grow
Stamps: Magnolia - Monkey, Hanging Leaves, Giraffe Pattern - Pet Collection 2009. Sentiment - Penny Black
Colouring: Copics - G21, YG67, YG11, R20, R22, B000, B00, C1, 0, E31, E33, E35, E37, E41, E43, E47
Embellishments: Ribbon, buttons, twine, glossy accents
 Tools: Sewing machine, trouvaille, nesties

Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 146 we have a theme of Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy and we would like to see a creation for a boy/man. This week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn and they are giving us a £10 gift certificate as a prize. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of anything goes, and both Secret Crafter Challenge 138 and Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 115 have a theme of Dad.

For my card I have used a digi image from Create4fun called Timothy Golf and it is coloured with copics. Bridesmaid Tilda

Hello everyone, last Monday saw the launch of the new TOMIC challenge blog and we have a very easy theme of Happy Birthday to get the ball rolling. This is the DT card I made for the challenge and on Monday I showed it on my Solo Magnolia blog, but I have popped it on my main blog today where all of my cards go.

For my card I have used Bridesmaid Tilda from the Magnolia Wedding Collection 2010 and she has been coloured with copics and embellished with silver stickles. The lush DPs are from K & Co and they have quite a vintage feel. I planned my layout around the little bird in the bottom right hand corner so you could see him peeking through. I used an MS punch for the scalloped edge and the sentiment is from cats life press. To embellish my card I used some cream twill, pearls, twine and a charm

I finished off the inside of my card with the left over DPs from the front. I put them together in a patch work effect and used some zig zag stitches for the joins. I really love how this turned out.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Dark red and white card, K & C - Flora and Fauna
Stamps: Magnolia - Bridesmaid Tilda - Wedding Collection 2010
Colouring: Copics - E00, E02, E11, R20, V12, V17, E53, E25, E29, E43, E47, E49, R81, R85, YG11, YG67, G21, C1, C3, C5, W1, W3, W5, W7, 0
Embellishments: Twill ribbon, pearls, twine, charm
