Red, White and Blue Gorjussness

Hello everyone, this week on Cupcake Challenge 56 we have a colour theme of red, white and blue and we have a fabulous sponsor this week - Simon Says Stamp are offering a $20 gift voucher and free shipping for one lucky winner. I'm also entering this card into this week's Stamp Something where you have to use your favourite stamp. Well it is hard for me to pick a favourite, but I adore this gorjuss girl image..... so much so that I have used it for my DT card for next week's cupcake challenge too, and I didn't even realize!!!

I have to admit I struggled with DPs for this challenge and I found this red piece in my scrap basket and made the card from there. My GG image is coloured with distress inks and I have used my swiss dots folder for the embossing. The corners are shaped with a fiskars punch and the ribbon and jewel are from my stash.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Blue and white card, DP from stash
Stamps: Sugar Nellie - Gorjuss Girl Sitting
Colouring: Distress inks - fired brick, tattered rose, vintage photo, broken china, weathered wood, black soot, inkssentials pen for highlights
Embellishments: Ribbon, jewel, stickles
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, swiss dots folder, fiskars corner punch, water brush

Thanks for looking x
