Hello everyone (again!), I was going to post this card tomorrow but I have just finished it and decided to post it straight away, it has been a total labour of love and it seems like it has taken me ages to do! I started it last week and I have done other cards in between but at one point I thought I was never going to get it finished!!! It is a Whiff of Joy DT card and all of the stamps I have used are from the
Whiff of Joy Stamp Kit Birdie Love. I am also entering it into the following challenges; I have followed the sketch from
Totally Gorjuss Challenge 20,
Copic Creations Challenge 23 is to use green,
Stamp Something has a girly theme,
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 102 has a green theme,
Simon Says Stamp has a mother/girly theme,
Quixotic Challenge 15 has a theme of leaves and finally
Stamp with Fun Challenge 49 has a spring theme this week.
Right, onto the card! I have wanted to make a paper bag card for ages and I finally got around to buying some brown papers bags and having a bash at one. All the stamps are from
Whiff of Joy and all images have been coloured with copics. The DP is from DCWV and the ribbon, jewels, flowers, spacer and brad are from my stash.
On the inside of the card I made a pocket on one side the holds two tags and decorated the otherside. I made an insert that slides inside where a greeting can be written.
My final image shows the two tags and the insert pulled out so you can have a better look. I stitched around all the elements of my card using my sewing machine. I am going to use this card for my Mum on mothers day, I think I may also get a voucher for a garden centre to pop in the pocket on the inside as a gift.
