Cupcake Challenge 150
Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 150 we have a theme of choose your favourite challenge from our last 150.....cool or what! This week our sponsor is the fabulous Lili of the Valley and they are giving us a £10 gift certificate as a prize. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; Simply Magnolia has a theme of birthdays (this is a birthday card for my niece), Totally Gorgeous Challenge 88 has a theme of summertime, Cute Card Thursday has a theme of Lace, Simon Says Stamp and a Spoonful of Sugar Challenge 159 have a theme of Stitching, and this week's Papertake challenge has a theme of Anything Goes.
For my card I have chosen challenge 138 which had a theme of lots of layers. I have used Will you be my Valentine Tilda from the Magnolia you are so special collection 2011 and she has been coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles and glossy accents. The lush DPs are from echo park and I have used some equally as lush lace from wild orchid as a trim. The flowers are also from wild orchid and the ribbon and jewels are from my stash.
I also decorated the inside of this one with some Echo Park DP from the same collection and a mini image and sentiment from the Magnolia Mini World Collection.
This month our icing on the cupcake prize is sponsored by Polka Doodles who are giving us a gorgeous selection of four christmas themed stamps as a prize, and all you have to do is enter at least one of our challenges this month to be in with a chance to win.

Cupcake Challenge 143
Hello everyone, over on Cupcake Challenge 143 we have a theme of bookworm and we would like to see book/reading related cards or projects. This week we are sponsored by Crafty Emma's Store and they are giving us the fabulous prize of a £10 gift certificate. I am also entering this card into the following challenges; this week's Simon Says challenge has a theme of sparkle and shine, and A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 152 has a theme of anything goes.
For my card I decided to go with a slightly different design.... its kinda growing on me but I wasn't sure about it at first.....something doesn't look quite right and I think it is maybe a proportion issue!!! I use Willow with book from WOJ and she is coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles. I used a spellbinders fancy tag to cut the shape for my sentiment and I sponged it with tattered rose distress ink for some definition, then stamped a Magnolia sentiment. The DP is from Dovecraft and the ribbon and jewels are from my stash.
I made this bookmark a while ago, so I decided to make my card to match it!
This month our icing on the cupcake prize is sponsored by Crafts U Love who are giving us a £15 voucher as a prize, and all you have to do is enter at least one of our challenges this month to be in with a chance to win.
Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card, Dovecraft
Stamps: WOJ - Willow with book, Magnolia - Sentiment
Colouring: Copics - E00, E02, E11, R20, R81, R85, E51, E25, E53, E29, B93, B95, B97, R27, C1, C3, C5, W1, W3, W5, W7, 0

Hello everyone, well I have got my act together after my holidays and I am now back in the swing of DT creations too so this week over on Cupcake Challenge 115 we have a theme of thank you with autumn colours. The sentiment is from WOJ, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I punched out the little branches with my leone em punch.
Also as it is the start of a new month we have a new Cupcake Madness prize up for grabs and this month it is sponsored by Some Odd Girl. To be eligible for this prize all you need to do is enter at least two different Cupcake Challenges this month for your name to be aded to the draw.

Video Boy
Hello everyone, I have finally managed to get this card finished. I have had the image all coloured up for a few days, but I just couldn't get around to putting it all together! This is a DT card for Mo's Digital Pencil and the delightful image is called Video Boy and is available here - it is just perfect for a teenage boy! I am entering this card into a Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 98 where they have a theme of one for the boys.
If you are a huge fan of Mo's images, which I'm sure you all are, there is a guest DT call on at the moment over on Mo's Digital Pencil DT blog, so check it out, you could be the lucky one!
I have coloured this fabulous image with copics and just while I am writing this I have noticed that I forgot to colour his watch! Silly me, must remember to go back and colour it! The DP I have used is from basic grey and the ticket is from Tim Holtz. Embellishments are kept to a minimum, just a piece of ribbon and two buttons.
I am having a play around with this new blogger in draft and the image above is the extra large one, loaded directly with blogger rather than through my photobucket account. It will be interesting to see how it turns out, if it is large enough I may be able to do without photobucket. Finger crossed it is ok!
Supplies
Card/Paper: Navy and white card, Basic Grey - Boxer
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Video Boy
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, E50, E51, E53, E43, E47, E49, E33, E35, E37, B32, B39, B23, B24, B93, B95, B97, G94, G99, R27, R29, R59, C1, C3, C5, W1, W3, W7, 0

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 88 has a freestyle theme this week, Creative Inspirations Challenge 45 what to see a feminine card, Totally Gorgeous would like to see dimension (the image and sentiment are popped up on dimension tape) and finally, Cute Card Thursday Challenge 97 would like to see flowers.
The image is called bluebells from Sketching Stamper and I love it! I coloured it with copics and it was a pleasure to colour. The DP is from K & Co and I used my swiss dots folder for the embossing. I stiched around the edges with my sewing machine and I used my MS punch for the decorative edge. The sentiment was computer generated and this card was a commission for someone so I hope they liked it!
Finally, my usual close up.

Stamps: Sketching Stamper - Bluebells

Friday Sketchers Challenge 71 & SFOS Challenge 71
Hello everyone, I have made this card for Friday Sketchers Challenge 71 where there is a great sketch to follow this week. I am also going to enter it for a Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 71 where they have a theme of Christmas. Speaking of.... the reason I haven't been blogging much lately is because I have been overloaded with making cards to sell in the UK. I am going over there next week and this will be the last opportunity I will have to get cards over there before Christmas...... I am sick of the sight of Christmas cards already!!!!
It is a good job I love this WOJ image as I have made loads of cards with her, so you will be seeing quite a bit of her over the next few weeks..... don't panic though, I wont show you them all!!!!! Willow with Lantern is coloured with distress inks and the DP is from Basic Grey. I used my MS punch for the snowflakes and the flower and ribbon are from my stash. I did a little piercing to add more detail to the edge of the image and the papers are distressed with fired brick.
As usual, a close up of my image.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Rad and White card, Basic Grey - Wassail
Stamps: WOJ - Willow with Lantern, Studio g sentiment
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, walnut stain, fired brick, weathered wood, black soot, peeled paint, spiced marmalade
Embellishments: Flower, ribbon, pearl brad, stickles
Tools: MS snowflake punch, water brush, needle, sponge

Summer Tilda with Bike
Hello again, three posts in one day is unheard of for me....although one of them was just a news post so I suppose that one doesn't count! This card is for four challenges, firstly I used the sketch from Just Magnolia Challenge 19, ABC's theme is B for buttons, Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 65 has a theme of travel and finally Cute Card Thursday Challenge 74 has a lazy days summer theme.
For my card I used a cute Tilda Stamp from the Magnolia Lazy Summer Days Collection and she is coloured with distress inks and highlighted with my insenntials pen...yes I remembered to do it this time! The papers are from pebbles inc and I used my paisley folder for the embossing. The flower, pearls, button and ribbon are all from my stash.
I have decorated the inside, but it isn't anything special so I haven't shown it.
Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card, Pebbles inc
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Bike
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, spiced marmalade, faded jeans, weathered wood, black soot, peeled paint, walnut stain. Inkssentials pen for the highlights.
Embellishments: Flower, button, ribbon, pearls
Tools: Cuttlebug, paisley folder, corner rounder punch, leone em branch punch, water brush

Delicious Diva Challenge 1 & SFOS Challenge 63
Hello everyone.... for the second time today! I have made a rectangular card for a change..... really living on the edge!!!! I don't often do them, but I really enjoyed making this one, it was nice and quick! I am entering it into a new challenge called Delicious Divas where there is a fabulous sketch to follow. I have to say that this is my second attempt at the sketch, for my first one I got carried away a little and deviated from the sketch a bit too much!!!! lol!! I'm also entering this card into SFOS Challenge 63 where you have to use flowers.
For my card I have used a very sweet Magnolia image from the Lazy Summer Days Collection. I have coloured her with distress inks and highlighted with my inkssentials pen. The lush DP was a gift from my boyfriends Mum but I don't know the make (sorry!) the ribbon, pearls and brad are from my stash and the flower was left over from my Magnolia DT kit.
Finally, a close up of my image.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink and white card, DP from stash
Stamps: Magnolia - Summer Tilda - Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, flower, pearls, jewel brad
Tools: Leone em branch punch, water brush

Another Cookie Card!
Evening ladies, Firstly I must apologize as I made a very similar card for last week's WOJ challenge, but this one is for a commission and I thought Willows apron would be perfect for paper piecing so I had to enter it for WOJ challenge 35.This card is also for Creative Inspirations Challenge 13 where the theme is also paper piecing, Secret Crafter Challenge 37 is pink and green and finally Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 56 which is a fab sketch.
I had never tried paper piecing before but I love the effect it gives so I will definitely be doing it again! The rest of the image is coloured with distress inks and I tried to go for a distressed look with this card so I have distress the papers with tattered rose and the edge of the image with antique linen and tattered rose. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but I think it has come out ok.....well at least I hope so!!!

The papers are from Laura Ashley, the flowers are primas and I have used my leone em branch punch to create .... well...the branches!! I so love this punch, if any of you are thinking about buying it, just buy it!! you'll love it too!!
I have decorated the inside to compliment the front and I have also added my cookie recipe.

Both the cookie recipe and the sentiment on the front are computer generated using the font lucinda handwriting.
Finally, a close up of my colouring and paper piecing. WOJ are looking for additional DT members but unfortunately I'm not sure I have enough WOJ stamps to apply, so I gave it a miss...weep weep!
Supplies:
Card/Paper: Green, white and pink, Laura Ashley - Contemporary range.
Stamp: WOJ - Willow with cookies
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, vintage photo, peeled paint, faded jeans, antique linen. Silver gel pen
Embellishments: Primas, jewel brad, charm, jewels
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, d'vine swirl folder, water brush, leone em punch.
Thanks for looking. x
