Cupcake Challenge 120

Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 120 we have a theme of Little Red Robin and we would lke to see a robin on your cards/projects. This week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp and they are giving us a $20 gift certificate + free shipping as a prize.

I am also entering my card into the following challenges: this week's Stamp Something has a theme of christmas colour combos, and Secret Crafter Challenge 112 has a theme of christmas.

So, the other girls have done a great job as usual and provided some fabulous inspiration and also, don't forget our Cupcake Madness... this month we are sponsored by Wild Rose Studio and they are giving us a prize of two gorgeous stamps. All you have to do to enter is join in with at least two cupcake challenges this month and your name will be included in the draw.

My Terrible Twosome

Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 76 we have a theme of four legged and furry which has been set by our very own Shelly. We are sponsored this week by our regular sponsor, Simon Says Stamp and they are giving us a prize of a $20 gift certificate + free shipping. I am also entering this card into Penny Black Challenge 86 which has a theme of someone special - I made this card for Jeff's Mum's birthday.

Well there is a little tale behind this card - Jeff's Mum really likes our dogs so for her birthday card I decided to use my PB stamp and colour him in to "look like" our two dogs. Monkey is supposed to be on the front and Charlie on the inside......

Can you tell??!...... No, niether can I!!! lol!! Ah well, the idea was good but I'm not sure if I pulled it off!!!

Anyway, onto the card... the images have been coloured with distress inks and the DP is from Basic Grey. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment on the inside is from Whiff of Joy.

To finish, my usual close up.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Yellow and white card, Basic Grey - Lemonade
Stamps: Penny Black and Whiff of Joy
Colouring: Distress inks
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, waterbrush

Pink and White Christmas

Hello everyone, sorry that it has been a few days since I have posted, I am just about losing the will to live!!! I'm not sure that I am ever going to get my christmas cards finished. Apologies for the bad photos, my camera just wasn't playing today! I have used my penny black hedgie shuffle stamp (again!) and it is coloured with distress inks. The paper is from DCWV and I have used my snowflake folder for the embsossing. My MS snowflake punch has made another outing and I used a cuttlebug die for the large snowflake.

For the inside I masked off part of the stamp and just stamped one hedgie for the area to write the greeting.

And I did the same thing, but a different hedgie, to decorate the envelope.

Hello everyone, this is my final week of begin a GDT member for Creative Inspirations, I can't believe how quick the time has passed! We have a sketch for this week's challenge created by Nat and it is a sketch I will use again and again.

My image is from Penny Black and she is coloured with distress inks. The DPs were all a gift and I'm not sure where they are from, but they are all nice and bright and christmasy. I got out my sewing machine and stitched around all of the elements....... I'm not very good with it and have dabbled in the past, but I am determined to stick with it this time so you may see more sewing popping up here and there..... I am struggling a bit with trying to get the right tension for the bobbin (the bottom one)... if anyone has any hints maybe you could let me know?!!

Supplies
Card/Paper: White and red card, DPs from stash
Stamps: Penny Black
Colouring: Distress inks - fired brick, faded jeans, tattered rose, broken china
