Hi everyone, apologies for not bloging all week, I have been really busy doing work around the house and DT work to cover the next two weeks as my parents, sister and her boyfriend are arriving tomorrow for a fortnight (ash cloud permitting of course!) They are all coming over because it is my Dad's 60th birthday and we are planning a small do next weekend. This is the card I have made for him and I have used an image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Big Guy Grilling, this was just perfect for his card as when he is here he completely takes control of the BBQ!!!!
We also have a DT call out for our June guest designer over on Mo's Dream Team Blog. There is a fabulous sketch to follow that has been designed by Jak and you have until the 25th May to submit your entry. Why don't you hop on over and take a look, you could be our lucky Miss June!
I am entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Simon Says Stamp and Stamp Something Challenges both have a theme of birthdays and Stampin' for the Weekend and Cute Card Thursday Challenge 111 both have a theme of make a card for a male... perfect!

Cupcake Challenge 85
Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 85 we have a theme of Make your own Flowers and this week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp. I am also entering this card into the following challenges; Creative Inspirations Challenge 54 has a theme of sentiment only, Stamp Something has a theme of pink, Stamping for the Weekend would like to see ribbons and bows and Cute Card Thursday Challenge 106 would like to see eggs or ovals.
Well, my teamie Victoria certainly set a challenge for me and I'm afriad I have made a rather feable attempt. My made flower is the punched out one that is on top of my bought one.... rubbish attempt or what!! Making flowers isn't really my thing (as you can see!) but it is something I must try a bit more..... it might save me a bit of money! This card is for my neighbours birthday and she isn't into cute, so I just kept it simple and went with a sentiment only. The stamp is from the Whiff of Joy Store Kit Spring Bloom and my DP is from Laura Ashley.

Stamps: Whiff of Joy - Spring Bloom

Willow with Shopping Bags - Sneak Peek 3
Hello everyone, this is my third sneak peek of these gorgeous new Whiff of Joy stamps from the City Girls collection. I just love this shopping Willow stamp, she is a girl after my own heart! I have used the sketch from the current Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge and I am also entering it for ABC....N which has a theme of new - my new things are the stamp and DPs.
I have made a card and matching note pad set. I think they would be great as a little gift - a girl needs somewhere to write down things that she wants to buy!!!!!
For my card I have used the full size Willow with Shopping bags from Whiff of Joy - the City Girls collection is available to order from the 4th February. I have coloured her with copics and cut and layerd her with oval nesties. The DP is from Basic Grey, I just loved the retro look of these papers. The dark brown one is a really lush rich colour and I embossed it wth my d'vine swirl folder to pep it up a little but unfortunately you can't really see this in the picture. The ribbon, brad and pearls are from my stash and the cute charm is available from Whiff of Joy. I sewed around all the elements and I used a TH ticket as my sentiment.
I altered a little note pad that I picked up from the supermarket and the stamp I used for this is a mini one - these aren't available to buy but you get them free with orders over 50 euros and they are perfect for small projects. The DPs etc are the same as my card and I didn't add too many embellishments to the note pad as I didn't want to swamp it and I wanted it to be fairly hard wearing to withstand a handbag. The sentiment is computer generated and I cut the letters into small tiles so I could add them in a curve.
Finally, my usual close up.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink, brown and cream card. Basic Grey - Nook & Pantry
Stamps: Whiff of Joy - Willow with Shopping Bags
Colouring: Copics - E00, E51, R20, E33, E35, E37, E29, R35, E21, BG10, BG15, BG23, E47, E43, C1, C3, RV10, RV21, W1, W3, W7, 0
Embellishments: Ribbon, charm, PM brad, TH ticket, pearls

Copic Creations 17 & Stampin' for the Weekend
Hello everyone, today's card is for two challenges; Copic Creations Challenge 17 has a theme of snowmen/people and Stampin' for the Weekend has a colour combo of lilac and silver. I have made an easel card again, I just love this design and you can do so much with it. This card is a commission for a friend, I just hope she likes it!

The image is from Mo's Digital pencil and I have coloured him with copics and added some polar white flower soft for the snow. The papers are from DCWV and I have used my snowflake folder for the embossing. The ribbon and jewels are fom my stash and the snowflakes were done with my MS punch.

For the inside I created a little pocket and added two tags, one has a recipie for Ho-Ho Snowballs and the other is for the greeting.

Here are the tags out of their pocket. The one to write the greeting on has a small image of the snowman in the bottom corner, it is cool how you can do this with digital images. Before I forget, all the papers and the two tags have been distressed with weathered wood and dusty concord distress inks.
Supplies
Card/Paper:White and purple card, DCWV - Rose tinted christmas
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Snowman
Colouring: Copics, Distress inks - weathered wood and dusty concord for the edges
Embellishments: ribbon, jewels, flower soft
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, snowflake folder, MS doily lace punch, MS snowflake punch, TH Ink Applicator
