Snowflake Tildas

Hello everyone, today I have another card that covers three challenges; Just Magnolia has a monochrome theme this week, Simon Says Stamp has a sparkly theme, and finally Creative Card Crew Challenge 34 has a theme of snowflakes.

For my card I have used Tilda with Yulehat and Big Christmas Ornament from the Magnolia Christmas Collection 2008 and they are coloured with distress inks and hightlighted with loads of silver stickles to give some sparkle. The sentiment is from studio g and the papers and flowers are from my stash. It obviously doesn't show on here, but the paper is flocked and the snowflakes are so soft to the touch.... it broke my heart to cut the paper!!!

I have included another card in this post too as they are both very similar. On the second card the large present Tilda is sitting on is from the Magnolia Santa Collection 2008.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Blue and White card, DPs from stash
Stamps: Magnolia - Christmas & Santa Collections 2008
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, weathered wood, broken china, walnut stain, vintage photo. inkssential pen for highlights
Embellishments: Flowers, charms, chain, stickles, PM pearl brads
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, snowflake folder, corner rounder punch, MS snowflake punch, Fiskars threading water punch, water brush

Thanks for looking x

  1. What a gorgeous card Liza - I love it. That paper is fabby, no wonder you didn't want to cut it lol! The colours you used are really pretty. The other card is very sweet too. Funny when you make a card using particular papers or colours you want to make another one!

  4. these are both so gorgeous, I can see the flock, I'd be the same - wanting to stroke and admire the paper and not cut it up. I've been known to buy two the same so I can cut on, keep one!
