Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop - August 2010
Hello everyone, its that time again, yes it is Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop and as children are preparing for a new term ahead I have decided to use Trinity who would be perfect for a back to school card. This month we have a theme of die cuts, nesties or punches so I pulled out my nesties for this one! You should have arrived here from Jak's Blog, if not head over to Rosette's Blog to start from the beginning.
So, for my card I have coloured Trinity with copics and as with all of Mo's images, she was a joy to colour. The DP is from my stash and I have used my circle and scalloped circle nesties for the die cut element. The white circle I then embossed with my swiss dots folder to carry the spotty theme through from the DP. I finally finished off with some ribbon and I coloured the jewels with a red copic to match the card.
Right, onward! The next stop on this month's hop is Cheryl's Blog where I know she has something delightful to share with you.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Black, white and red card, DP from my stash
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Trinity
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, E35, E31, E35, E37, E50, E51, E53, E57, R27, R29, R59, G21, C1, C3, C5, C7, W1, W3, W5, W7, 0

Cupcake Challenge 102
Hello everyone, on Cupcake Challenge 102 we have a theme of distressing and this week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp who are giving us a prize of a $20 gift voucher + free shipping. I am also entering my card into this week's Papertake Challenge where they have a fab sketch to follow.
Well, distressing is a nightmare for me and although I can't bring myself to rip and rough up my papers, I can manage a bit of inking! Since I got my copics at christmas my distress inks have been thoroughtly neglected but I have dusted them off and used them to colour Tilda with Birdcage from the Magnolia Pet Collection 2009. My DP is from Basic grey and I have distressed each element with antique linen and edged with vintage photo. I really love how this card turned out.... I'll have to get my inks out a bit more!
Supplies
Card/Paper: Cream and pink card, Basic Grey - Sugared
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Birdcage - Pet Collection 2009
Colouring: Distress inks - antique linen, walnut stain, black soot, vintage photo, peeled paint, worn lipstick, tattered rose, faded jeans, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, pearls

Karate Kids
Hello everyone, today I have two cards to show you as I couldn't resist making a matching set! I used two fabulous images from Mo's Digital Pencil called Karate Girl and Karate Boy. They are just perfect for a black and white combo with just a touch of colour on each. For both cards I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers Challenge 112 and I am also entering the boy card for Stamp with Fun Challenge 69 which has a theme of male cards and this week's Simon Says where the theme is dots.
For my cards I used my swiss dots folder to emboss the white card and on the boy card I have used DP from my stash. I have stitched around the edges of all the elements with my sewing machine and I used ribbon, a button and jewels from my stash.
For the girl card, all the details are the same as above except my DP is from Papermania. I took the photos on two different days, hence the slight differences with the lighting!!!

Cupcake Challenge 101
Hello everyone, this week over on Cupcake Challenge 101 we have a theme of Pastel Christmas and we are sponsored by Paper Mom who are giving us 3 digi stamps as a prize. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of cute and both Magnolia Down Under Challenge 56 and Stamptacular Challenge 69 have themes of christmas in July.
For my card I have used Christmas Party Tilda from the Magnolia So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009 and I have coloured her with copics and embellished with stickles. My lush DP is from fancy pants and the sentiment is from WOJ. Instead of cutting my card quite close to the image I decided to leave it larger to give more focus to Tilda and I quite like the look! Of course, with a larger image I kept the layout very simple and I embellished with jewels and ribbon from my stash.

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been blogging much lately, I have just found out I have a thyroid problem and I have been feeling a bit under the weather, so my crafting has had to take a back seat. However, I have managed to do this card for Crafty Sentiments Challenge 27 where there is a sketch to follow and I am also entering it into the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of in the garden, Creative Card Crew has a theme of Die Cuts, Charisma Cardz Challenge 28 has a theme of pink and finally, Fuss and Fancy Challenge 15 has a theme of stitches, scallops and sparkle.
For my card I have used Amy with Basket 2 from Crafty Sentiments and she is coloured with copics. My DP is from Papermania and I have used my MS doily lace punch for the decorative edge. The ribbon and jewels are from my stash and I finished off with some stickles on the flowers, although it doesn't look very sparkly in the picture!
Supplies
Card/Paper: White and Pink Card, Papermania - Henbury Lane
Stamps: Crafty Sentiments - Amy with Basket 2 and sentiment
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100, B93, B95, B97, RV000, RV02, RV21, RV23, RV29, E33, E35, E37, YG03, B00, BG10, 0

Crafty Sentiments Blog Hop Party - 16th July
Hello everyone. Thank you for joining us for Crafty Sentiments Release blog hop. This blog hop is running from July 12th-July 16th and will reveal a new image each day.
The other designers that are featuring this image are Kim and Lisa Jane, so make sure you check out their gorgeous creations.
For my card I have coloured the Bride with Flowers image with copics and the DP is from my stash. The DP is so pretty I didn't want to cover it all up with layers therefore I have kept my layout very simple. I have stitched around the edge of my DP and I have finished off with some ribbon and jewels.
We also have a badge for the release. That is below!
