Cupcake Challenge 158
Hello everyone, today on Cupcake Challenge 158 it was my turn to set the theme and I chose patchwork quilt, so we would like to see some patchwork on your cards or projects.
This week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp and they are giving us a $20 gift certificate as a prize.
For my card I have used Will you be my Valentine Tilda from the Magnolia You Are So Special Collection 2011 and she is coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles. The DP is from Echo Park and I have kept my layout simple so the patchwork can be seen!
My card matches the project I made for last week's Cupcake Challenge which was an altered notebook and here they are together.
This month our icing on the cupcake prize is sponsored by Bunny Zoe who are giving us a £15 gift voucher as a prize, and all you have to do is enter at least one of our challenges this month to be in with a chance to win.

TOMIC Challenge 13
Hello everyone, this was my project for TOMIC Challenge 13 that I have just realised didn't post when it was scheduled!!! We have a theme of back to school + metal and once again one lucky winner will receive a surprise package from Magnolia.
For my project this week I have created a simple notebook. It was really easy to make....I just cut some A4 printer paper to make the paper stack inside and I stapled it together. I then used some pink ribbon to hide the staples and I applied double sided tape to the back piece, then I stuck it down firmly to my pink card base.
To decorate the front I used Summer Tilda from the Magnolia Lazy Summer Days Collection 2009 and I coloured her with copics. The DP is also from Magnolia and I used a Joy crafts Embossing stencil for my embossed panel. The punched edge was done with a fiskars punch and I used some cuttlebug dies to make the "notes". A pink satin ribbon ties the book closed and I finished off with a metal corner and some jewels.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink, green and white card. Magnolia - Once upon a time collection
Stamps: Magnolia - Summer Tilda - Lazy Summer Days Collection 2009
Colouring: Copics - E000, E00, E11, R20, E50, E31, E35, E25, E29, R81, R85, C1, C3, C5, 0. Inkssentials pen, silver gel pen

Cupcake Challenge 156
Hello peeps, its Monday once again and this week on Cupcake Challenge 156 we have a theme of gift card where we would like to see a card and gift in one. This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 7 digi images.
So, for my project this week I have made a card and gift box in one. It is ideal for any small gifts and I love how this project turned out. The card only measures 4 x 4 inches, not a lot of room for layers, so I kept it simple. The DP I used is by Doodlebug and it was perfect for this project....I bought a 12 x12 piece as I liked it so much, but didn't buy anything else in the same line to match it!! So it suited a simple layout!! I used my favourite Gorjuss girl, she is coloured with copics, cut out and popped up with foam pads onto a nestie cut circle that has been embossed with a joy crafts embossing stencil.
The inside has been decorated in the same way and the sentiment is from WOJ.
This is a shot of my gift box part. I just made a simple box with tab ends that tuck inside. I cut an aperture with a circle nestie and fixed acetate behind, then I made a frame to make the front look pretty! I stuck the back of my box down onto a panel that has been embossed with a joy embossing stencil.
This is the back of my box/card. I used the circle of DP that I cut out for my aperture and a cats life press stamp to decorate it. To decorate the spine I used a piece of pink card, I rounded the corners using a punch and I added two jewels.
This is a picture of all the inside with my tea light candles in the box.
And finally, an arty shot!!!
This month Cupcake is three so we have three fabby prizes for our icing on the cupcake competition. We are sponsored by Crafts U Love who are giving us a £15 gift voucher, Mo's Digital Pencil who are giving us a $10 gift certificate and finally, Sew Sweet are also giving us a £10 gift certificate. All you have to do is enter at least one of our challenges this month to be in with a chance to win.

Card/Paper: White and pink card. DP - Doodlebug. Acetate
Stamps: Sugar Nellie - Gorjuss Girls - Sitting. Sentiment - WOJ. Handmade Gift Stamp - Cats Life Press.
